People & Social Responsibility

  1. Health and Safety

Health and safety remain fundamental to how Fednav operates. In 2025, we strengthened access to care and connectivity at sea, directly supporting both physical and mental health for crewmembers. We recorded improved crew injury rates and openly addressed serious

incidents, using these events as opportunities for learning and reinforcing a safety culture rooted in accountability and transparency. Ongoing initiatives include launching enhanced vessel assurance programs, conducting rigorous inspections of both owned and chartered ships, and achieving strong shipyard safety performance. These actions underscore Fednav's commitment to ensuring that safety always takes precedence, regardless of operational demands.

  2. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Fednav fosters an inclusive culture where everyone feels respected, supported, and able to thrive, whether on shore or at sea. These values drive how Fednav manages its hiring practices, compensation decisions, career development, and day-to-day operations.

We use fair, structured, and bias-aware processes, tailored workplace support, and a strong focus on listening and learning to remove barriers and promote equitable opportunities. We continue to advance representation, increase the number of women in maritime and leadership roles, deepen cultural understanding, and strengthen ties with Indigenous communities. These actions show Fednav's long-term commitment to inclusion, respect, and belonging across its global workforce.

  3. Engagement & Partnerships

Employee engagement and strong partnerships are integral to our culture, performance, and enduring success. In 2025, we strengthened a connected and inclusive workplace through open dialogue, regular feedback, meaningful recognition, and policies that advance employee well-being.

High participation in engagement initiatives and consistently strong retention demonstrate a culture rooted in trust, adaptability, and collective responsibility. Beyond Fednav, we champion community involvement and employee-driven charitable initiatives, deepening ties with regions where we operate. Meanwhile, close collaboration with valued industry partners drives shared learning, innovation, and sustainable growth, underscoring Fednav's commitment to people, communities, and the maritime sector.
