Fednav mention

Fednav, which owns and charters 120 ships including 18 ice-class supramax and handysize bulkers, also saw higher rates for ice-class tonnage but would not disclose achieved spot rates.

"The build-up of ice in northern Europe has been relatively high this year and, consequently, the demand for ice-class tonnage is high," Tina Revsbech, executive vice-president of marine at fednav, told TradeWinds.

"This, combined with high export volume from the area, is resulting in a premium for ice-class tonnage.”
